Bought fresh shrimp yesterday and I didn’t get to cook them until this afternoon for lunch. Made a simple sauce mixture to pour on top before steaming the shrimp……so delicious!
1 pack fresh shrimp from Costco (guessing about 2 pounds), cleaned and deveined
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 small red chilies, sliced
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon salt
Place shrimp in a heat-proof bowl. Mix garlic, chilies, soy sauce, water, and salt in a separate small bowl and pour mixture on top of shrimp. Steam on high for 10 to 13 minutes or until cooked through. Serve immediately.
