Ledges Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park

We’ve been pretty lucky so far in October to have had a couple of warm weekends, which we took advantage of and went hiking. Earlier this month, we explored a new trail – Ledges Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Not too many trees had turned colors at that point but enough to let us know that Fall has arrived and is here to stay! If you get a chance to visit, the Ice Box Cave (named for its cool temperature) is not to be missed! Although the Ice Box Cave is not a true cave (but a 50-foot deep, narrow slit in the rock), it was still a SUPER-FUN experience for both kids and adults. :-D From there, we headed to the Overlook to take in a gorgeous fall view of the Cuyahoga Valley. It was a wonderful hike overall and Alex has already asked to go back to the Ice Box Cave since then. Below are some photos we took that day. Enjoy!
