Why do I love fried chicken so much??? Here’s a simple, favorite recipe…..so delicious! ❤️
1 cup light soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons white pepper
4-1/2 pounds chicken wings
Vegetable or peanut oil for frying
Rice flour
Combine soy sauce, sugar, pepper, and wings in a large bowl or Ziploc bag. Set aside to marinate for 20 to 30 minutes. Fill about 1/3 of a large frying pan with oil and heat over medium-high heat until oil is hot (I like to use the technique of dipping the end of a wooden spoon handle in the oil and if the oil is hot enough, small little bubbles would form around the handle). While waiting for oil to heat, place rice flour (just estimate) in a pie plate or bowl. When ready to fry, coat wings with flour and add to the hot oil (do not crowd the pan). Fry wings until crispy and cooked through. Then, remove to a sheet pan or large plate lined with paper towel. Repeat with the remaining wings. Serve them with rice or fries. Yum!
