So I just arrived home and I stopped at the mailbox to retrieve our mail. I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice golden envelope among the other junk mail. My first instinct was that it’s from my mother-in-law and sure enough, I was right. She usually makes an effort to send out actual cards for special occasions and as I was pulling into the garage, I was racking my brain trying to figure out what special occasion is coming up. Valentine’s Day? Nope – that already passed. Easter? A tad early but possible. Then, it dawned on me. Keith and I will be celebrating our 17th anniversary in two days! I’ve been trying to remember everything else – assignment due dates, dental appointment, work days and times, parent-teacher conferences, and so much more but apparently, not the anniversary date. I went inside and confessed to Keith that I totally forgot about our anniversary. He had this shocked look on his face and exclaimed that he forgot as well! There you go! Married for 17 years and we needed my mother-in-law to remind us of our anniversary. :)
Happy Anniversary to my dearest, loving husband who has never failed to be there for me every step of the way. Love you!
P.S. Thank you for the card, Mom! And for the reminder as well. :)
Happy Anniversary, Christine & Keith! Hugs & kisses from all of us here in Sibu..
Thanks, June! Love to everyone in Sibu!
Happy anniversary! 17 years!!! That’s quite a feat ;)
