Earlier in October, I baked Marie-Helene’s Apple Cake from Dorie Greenspan’s Around My French Table cookbook. Confession – I’m not a big fan of cinnamon so when I heard that this Apple Cake does not contain any cinnamon, I just knew I had to make it. 😁 The cake turned out absolutely delicious! I served it with lightly sweetened whipped cream and topped it with fresh raspberries that we picked. It was such a wonderful treat! ❤️
Note: I used Honeycrisp, Ginger Gold, Gala, and Holiday and substituted dark rum with cream sherry. And of course, I used Sunrise Flour Mill Heritage White Flour in this recipe.
