The fourth item on my list to make for Chinese New Year (CNY) was Kuih Bangkit. I decided to try Little Corner of Mine Kuih Bangkit recipe. As it was my first time making Kuih Bangkit, I had no idea (and I still don’t know) what the dough is supposed to feel like. The cookie turned out hard and crumbly on the inside but even with that, the taste was fabulous. It reminded me once again why Kuih Bangkit is my favorite cookie, and they’re all gone now – we ate them all. :) Hopefully, with practice, I’ll be able to get the texture right in the future.
