Gorge Metro Park

Another absolutely fabulous Saturday! Two beautiful Saturdays in a row with clear, blue skies and warm weather in November? in Northeast Ohio? Yikes! even the bulbs are coming out…they think it’s Spring. :) I can’t believe it – somebody, pinch me please…NOT! We must have hit a weather jackpot – I just hope we won’t pay for it in the coming weeks but if we do, I made sure I took plenty of pictures to remind us that it is all worth it. :) This way above normal temperature so far in November has definitely been a pleasant surprise. Back in October, we had such crappy weather…a couple of weeks in a row where we barely even saw the sun, I thought for sure we would have snow up to our knees by now. I remember Alex asking me then “Mommy, how to make it Summer again?” :) I guess he was pretty sick of the weather at that time too. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a mild…er winter but now that I’ve said that aloud, we will probably have blizzards galore. :) In the meantime, we’re soaking up all the sun that we can and enjoying every bit of this gorgeous weather while it lasts. :)

Today, we explored yet another park that we’ve never been to before this – Gorge Metro Park in Summit County. We hiked on Gorge Trail and had spectacular views of the Cuyahoga River and rock ledges along the way, in addition to the natural beauty of the forest itself. We loved every minute of it! Below are pictures documenting our hike. Enjoy!
